Lifelong learning strategy

Project duration: 2006 – 2007

The objective of the project was to develop strategic materials building on European and national strategic documents that would identify the strengths and weaknesses in various sectors of lifelong learning and set the main strategic directions and measures for further development.

The team of the National Observatory was in charge of analysing and articulating strategic measures in the area of continuing education and training.

Strengthening of the capacity of the institutions from selected EU countries in the field of implementation of Regulations (EC) No. 883/2004 and 987/2009 and introduction of the electronic data exchange

The realisation of this project is based on, amongst other things, Regulation no. 883/2004 (EC) and Regulation 987/2009, which imposes the obligation of all EU member states to secure international electronic data exchange in the area of social security within the framework of the entire European network.

The basic goal of the project for the institutions in the Czech Republic is the use of all of the benefits arising from the international cooperation during the building of fully functioning points of access to the data of the insured individuals in the EU (so-called Access Points (AP)) which ensure the necessary interoperability with the other affected international bodies within the framework of the European architecture for the exchange of standardised electronic documents. 

Project started in October 2010 and planned duration is 24 months.

Central European Initiative Human Resources Development Forum

Prague CEI Human Resources Development Forum has been established by the international CEI Working Group for Human Resources Development & Training (later Focal Points Network for HRD), chaired by the Czech representative. The Forum has been established for the purpose of regular meetings of experts in the field of HRD on those themes, which were specified as the key ones. The format of international conference has been chosen for meetings of the Prague Forum since 2005. The themes for conferences are discussed and agreed at yearly meetings of Focal points. The conferences are organized by the National Training Fund with the support of the CEI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic or the Research, Development and Innovation Council in 2013.
